our horses

Datsun , our old man who has been with me since long before the farm. Datsun is a Reg. Arabian imported from Sweden..I have been with this unbelivable talented horse for going on 19 years. He is going to be 29 this year and thinks hes 4. Datsun is well know in the barn and unbeatable in the show ring. Hes is enjoying his retirement but does enjoy a jelly donut treat now and then.

ACACIA

Basil is our Dutch warmblood yearling. She is spending her days running and playing with Acacia. She is growing bigger everyday. She will be at least 17h. She is out of 2 outstanding warmbloods consul and Opheliea. We are just waiting for her to grow up and show us what she got. And we already know shes got a lot of something.

Hotflash is a 6 year old medium pinto pony. He has been with us since he was 3months old. He was born at a pmu ranch and we rescued him out of Canada, with help. He is our top lesson pony and does everything from teaching first timer to get their balance to teaching kids to jump large courses. He is a well loved pony that will be with us for his lifetime.

This is Overtime, "OT" for short. If you have been lucky enough to have meet this guy , you will never forget him. Not for just the fact that he is awsome in the ring and a guarenteed ribbon winner, but for all his talents. Especially his lip flapping. And, like I said if you have met him you are laughing right about now. We love this guy and we thank his owner Kathy who has allowed us to lease him.

Chico is a new adition to our farm in the last 6 months. He is an 18 year old medium pony. He rides english and western. He teaches the smallest of children for their first time riding to the more advanced kids, cantering and some jumping. He is a definate keeper. He is already a favorite.

How cute is this pony? Tony was a western roping pony from ND. He is a draft cross pony that has the heart of gold. Tony does everything from western to jumping and swimming in the pond. He is a big favorite in the barn.

This reg QH mare "skips poco bar gal" Is is 7 years old and has been with us since she was 5 months old. She is a beautiful mare that rides western , english , trail rides and is learning to jump. She is current taking leadline kids to champion levels. I wish I had 100 that were as talented as her.

General is exactly his name. He is an 11.2h pony that thinks he is 18h. He runs with the herd and plays with the big guys. He is the protector of the young horses as well. He is great little pony with a super cute jump on him. Unfortunatly he is quick and the kids who can ride him have grown to tall. He is looking for a new rider.

Franky is going to be a star. He is four years old and is a half arabian/ half saddle bred. out of "The color of Fame". He is currently in training to see what he can do. He has already been proving himself as a superstar.

This cute gelding was born on ST. Patricks Day in 2002. He was born 10 day prior to our daughter , Alex. She has since then adoped him as her own. He will live out his day at the farm eating, running and having the love of a little girl.
